  Jigsaw Graphic Organizer 3-2-1 Strategy 3: One of the primary key ideas from this week that sticks is that learning is done in a social setting. Students need to be able to interact with one another. This interaction needs to be planned. The second key idea is that each student needs to have a standard they have to meet and they need to be held accountable to the group so that way one person does not just do all of the work. The third key idea is that the work cannot be so easy that any one individual can complete the task on their own.  2: One strategy is a turn and talk.  Part 1 Mendelian Genetics Article Text Dependent Questions Part 2 Graphic Organizer (1) why you chose the text-dependent questions/ graphic organizer or note-taking tool, I chose the graphic organizer tool because it is something that we have implemented in our Chemistry classes at Freedom High School. Every quarter, research students are required to complete a research like project and we use a graphic organizer as seen above as a way to start the project. We call the initial portion their background research because they do the research to answer questions on the unit and project.  (2) how it is useful to learning and understanding the particular content you selected, and The students will follow the questions and will have to be engaged on their own to answer the questions.
